Hospital Management Software
Hospital Management System (HMS) is a complete hospital suite serving each of the functional areas of the institution. Each of the department's work processes are in tandem with the system's business process which enables user-friendliness to the software. The software is designed for multi-specialty hospitals, to cover a wide range of Hospital administration and management processes. It is an integrated client server application which uses Visual basic as Front End and SQL server as back end. ADT Management Module
The ADT module is an integrated patient management system, which captures complete and relevant patient information. The system automates the patient administration functions to have better and efficient patient care process. It provides for enquiries about the patient, the patient's location, admission, and appointment scheduling and discharge details. Furthermore, this system even takes care of package deals for a patient for a fixed cost. Medical Record keeps an abstract of clinical data about patients. It allows easy retrieval of medical records on patients. It requires less staff to cater more patients in same time or even less. The ADT module is sub divided into four sections:
IPB Management Module
When a patient comes to the reception desk for admission, A Separate new registration number is automatically allotted to him. His personal details along with the details of Admission, Room, Consultant, Surgeon, Diet, etc. and the Advance Payment made are fed into the software. The Software will record all this information and print the related documents. IPB with details of Patient Information, Services provided on daily basis like Room rent, Operation, Delivery, Oxygen & Other Gases, Consultation, Nursing Charges, Laboratory tests, X-ray, Ultrasound, Medicines, and Procedures etc.
The senior Doctors would spend his precious time more in clinical activities than to put in clerical activities otherwise. This software interface would also save them a lot of time for special jobs only.
Hospital administrators would be able to significantly improve the operational control and thus streamline operations.
OPB Management Module The out Patient Billing module handles all types of billing for long-term care. This module facilitates cashier and billing operations for different categories of patients like Outpatient, Inpatient and Referral. It provides automatic posting of charges related to different services like bed charges, lab tests conducted, medicines issued, consultant's fee, food, beverage and telephone charges etc. This module provides for credit partly billing and can be seamlessly integrated with the Financial Accounting Module. Operation theatre Module
This module manages the operation theatre activities such as pre-anesthetic check-ups, pre-anesthetic notes generation, recording the anesthesia details, maintaining the list of procedures for various operations, recording operation details and finally maintaining the OT scheduling i.e. the occupancy of the different OT’s.

Diagnostic centre Module
This module is designed to computerize the administrative functions in a Diagnostic Centre right from Test Requisitioning to Billing, Result Entry and Report Printout. This can be used in Diagnostic Centers operating independently or those attached to hospitals. In Hospitals it can be linked to the Reception, which handles Out patient Registration and Billing, and to the Wards for direct requisitioning and automatic updating of Inpatient case sheets with Test results.
Blood bank Module
The Blood Bank module provides information on collection and stock of blood and its components and on results of tests, cross matching identifications and transfusion reaction. It also keeps information on donors mailing list and donation ledgers as well as donation camping details. Through this we can check at a critical situation the storage status of different groups of Blood.

This Module is about management of various inventories apart from the medicines managed by the pharma – center. Those may include casualty & OT accessories, scraps, Lab specific accessories etc. Here we generate Requisition and Indent of material, PO details, Receipt details, Supplier details, Issue details etc, as well as we maintain Material Procurement Plan, re-ordering level etc. for future contingencies.
Drug store/Pharma centre
This module deals with all medical items. The activities include generating indents, issues to patients, returns, updating daily stock position, stock adjustments etc. Enquiry screens include viewing daily stock position, sub store-wise stock enquiry, etc about medicines, injections, special OT specific apparatus, chemicals etc.

The housekeeping module provides the facility to manage and monitor the housekeeping activities in a hospital. The module facilitates management of day to day housekeeping activities like patient room preparation, Sweeping/mopping floors, dusting furniture, cleaning fixtures/ walls/ windows/ ceilings/ bathrooms etc. Laundry activities, maintenance of linen and their status, requests for fresh linen from wards, condemnation of torn or soiled linen and procurement of fresh linen can be done, using this module, including raising of all the maintenance requests and other service requests from the various departments. Financial transactions with external laundry firms are handled through the Financial Accounting module.
This module facilitates collection of information regarding various diet routines of patients and identifies the resources required to satisfy diet orders. Depending on the diet orders and other requests from canteen, the kitchen order plan can be prepared to decide the menu for the day. Analysis of the consumption patterns helps in better and efficient management of the kitchen.
As the name suggest this module covers corporate clients registering with the hospital for medical benefit to employees. It helps hospital to track those corporate discounts given to clients. The employee registered as corporate client gets special discount on services used up to a particular slot and beyond the discount slot gets additional benefit as per hospital standard set
This module automatically updates billing of all the patients on daily basis. It automatically tracks the different charges incurred by a particular patient on a particular day
Hospital can come up with some packages covering more than one service at a discounted price to the patients which enhances use of in house facilities and saves patient’s time and money. These packages can be saved and altered time to time
Bed management module allows hospital authority to view and track the bed occupancy related operations. Bed management governs bed inquiry, bed census and bed maintenance. This application provides hospitals an improved means of keeping track of beds so that they will know when a bed is available for next patient.

The Payroll Module handles any number of breakups of pay types and pay frequencies, and it also maintains employee records, which includes full personnel details, Skill and Expertise areas, job history etc. Here we also maintain various methods of performance appraisal.
